The Price is Right!

In October I found out that the Price is Right is coming to Pensacola! Once the tickets went on sale I knew I had to get them. I bought two tickets ( for me and my granny) and I didn't tell her! I kept it a surprise because I wanted it to be a special and memorable moment for her! Ever since I was a little girl she has watched the show EVERY morning at 10:00 A.M..... and now she would be able to watch it live. It was so hard to keep it from her, but it was totally worth it.

The show started at 7:30 P.M., but we had to get downtown around 3 because we had to get our name tags and get registered. It was a little cold waiting outside, but not intolerable. Once we got our name tags we walked around downtown and ate at a cute cafĂ© called Adonna's bakery. They had yummy salads and of course dessert! :)

After waiting hours for the show we finally were able to go in! The setup was SO cool! They called contestants down and played all of the popular games. We had a blast and granny laughed the whole time. It was for sure a time to remember and I am so glad I got to share such a fun time with my granny. Btw; I haven't figured out how to put pictures in with the text so they are all at the end!

Until next time, Lexi
Getting our name tags made it feel so real! We were going to be on the Price is Right!
So excited to get our name tags!

Newbie

Hi, I'm Lexi! I have never had a blog or seemed too interested in it, but since I have been married time is just flying bye. So fast, that Facebook isn't doing me justice anymore with documenting or just looking back. They say pictures are worth a thousand words, but are they really? I don't want to just look at a picture and say, "I remember that". I want too actually remember what went on hours before that, how I was feeling, what was going through my head, etc. Or just document how my weekends went! I hope I stay on top of this blog and keep it updated (even though I will never have any followers) lol, but this blog is for me and memories. I want to remember the good, the bad, and even the ugly days because eventually down the road I might need to remind and encourage myself.

On another note, A year or two from now Dakota and I plan on starting to try for a baby. Family is big to us, and we can't wait to add a little addition to our family. I want to tell every detail of my pregnancy and I know most people don't want to hear about what I am craving or what foods give me heartburn or make me sick. Like I said, this blog is for me! So I can spill EVERY little detail I want and not update my FB status every day because I know that can be annoying.

Until next time, Lexi
